addition to spawn tower

Hi all,

just a quick suggestion to maybe help unintentional griefing. We all know of the spawn tower and how the rules are pretty clearly defined by the signs posted all over. Well one thing i noticed was that there were plenty of signs telling players not to grief but none that explained exactly what griefing is. I know as a new player reading those signs i had no clue what griefing was since orcworm was my first, and only, server. Adding a sign defining what griefing is may reduce unintentional griefing and also completely remove the excuse that one did not know what griefing is.

If you don't understand the rules, then look them up or ask in the chat. Not knowing what a term means is no excuse.

If you don't understand the rules; you ask. Griefing is also a world-wide term, not only used on Minecraft, but on all multiplayer games.

Although what you've said is correct B, I guess it couldn't hurt if I added a simple definition of the term.

Should we also define what "block" means when we're showing the forbidden blocks?

The suggestion was mainly so that players can't say they didn't know what griefing was in order to get out of a ban. This definition just solidifies the argument against them and gives them one less out. Granted most people are smarter than that or will at least take it upon themselves to figure out what griefing is.

Well, that isn't a problem now .
