Voting for the server.

I know a vote system for a server list is pretty unorthodox but we need to keep them flowing in to keep the server at the top spot.

The guy who made the site flushed the votes as quite a few more servers have joined up on the site recently, probably to make it fairer for them I guess.

Once every 24 hours I think, unless you use a proxy or something, lol.

I'm not sure Proxy will work, but yes, 24 hours limit between each vote.

I used to be a GM on a wow private server called wowscape we used to proxie vote the hell out of the xtremetop 100 server lists. It works just got to use a program to do it.

wowscape is gone now due to legal issues, Allison Rhodes(the owner) got sued by Blizzard for 82 million USD. 15 USD for every registered user in the server list as well as 6 million in donation profits obtained from copyrighted material.

It happend about a year and a half ago and was the biggest internet copyright infringement lawsuit to date.

edit: at one point her 8 servers had a total of around 500K register users.. 8 servers with 8k max users online 24/7 for 4 years

I suppose all Wow and Runescape private servers are illegal? Haha, I once read about a teenager who had put alot of time and money in a Runescape private server, and he got sued by Jagex (I think) for about 1 million or something. But for some reason, he was set free by Jagex, because Jagex thought it was a way to harsh judgement. (Or something like that..)

2.-Scroll down, and in the url bar down there, paste the following: minestatus.net/5-orcworm-s-24-7-smp-server/vote

3.-Now write the captcha, and press "I'm a Human".

4.-Copy and paste the text given to you.

5.-Press "vote".

6.-Under the "Votes" column, press the "±" button.

7.-Repeat from step 3 on, as many times as you please.


If 10 people do this 10 times, we'd get 100 votes... do NOT do it more than 10 times at once, it'll look suspicious. Also, don't do it every day... In fact, when you see we're 2nd, stop. Then continue tomorrow, get us slightly first, then a little more, and then keep it that way. You now, don't get 1000+ votes in 20 minutes....
