Does anyone know if orc is running a terraria server? (or anyone for that matter)

if so, whats the ip?

i want to try out terraria's multiplayer, but i dont want to hunt down for a decent server.

Orc, i'd like u to know that all of spawn is covered in thorns. SO when u spawn, you automatically die.

Also the griefers are invisible and make nazi symbols

Yeah, spawn is being seriously spike griefed as I type.

And a guy calling himself sparta just completely destroyed my house.

Banned "DontGriefMeBro", "Sparta", "Bob", and "SudoFX" for griefing/griefing at spawn.

Kicked "DirtyGiraffe" for spamming chat by disabling and enabling PvP even after I told him/her to stop.

Also, I don't get "User" destroyed/placed 0x3 What type of ID's are that?

So many users leaving because of too many griefers, sheesh, I'm the only mod on haha, Damn you timezones.

And question: Why can't I /tp only /tele, which kills me and tps me?

There is a greifer on the server at the moment by the name of legend. He is ruining the whole spawn systematicly.

Seems to be fine now.

Will be adding an iteration of WorldGuard for next restart to protect spawn, and probably some more commands since I can't manage without /tp.

Yeah, I a couple of griefers by our castle last night. They came in destroying everything. I managed to ban only ONE of them before the other logged off. Got screenies.

NOTE: If you see a guy named " lolo185 " log on, ban him on sight for griefing. I have screenies.

Or /check the damage, /rollback name, /ip playername then /ban ip.

yeah, we alredy have a few terraria players signing up for the forums, wouldnt hurt to start a section. and a Tmod Rank would be awesome actually, the rank would get forums perms for the terraria section, maybe a dark green name like in-game? its mostly so we can tell whos who from terraria on the forums as well.

If this keeps up I don't think the forum we're on will be good enough ;p.

First and foremost I'll need to setup some kind of access for you guys if the server dies, then I'll look at ranks and whatnot.

When trying to connect to your server, it says "Found Server" but it hangs there. I would understand if the server were offline, but the various signature images on this post say "Online" at this time, and Terraria itself has of course "Found the server". I have been on the server in the past, so I know I can at least connect to it.

So uh, if the Terraria Client can (haz) "Found Server" then where is it?

If thats the case, just post in here, and I will restart it for ya.

Is making a new forum a possibility? We don't even need to bring all the shit on this one; we could just grab the rules and the announcements and we're done... Sure, it'd be a shame to lose all the history in this one, but I think making a bigger, better forum is worth it; specially if we're gonna have TF2, Minecraft, KF and Terraria discussions on all of them... (We will also need to bring forum mods back, so commoners: start behaving. )

We _could_ but we would probably need to take a look at a (cheap) hosting solution then. Running it on the same machine as the game-servers isn't that great of an idea.

In any case this is more something for S^4 dontcha think?
