The Legend of Minecraftia [OOC and Discussion]

Back Story:
You are part of a group of people who recently land on the shores of minecraftia. You are shipwrecked and forced to make a new life.

Rules:
No GodModding - You cannot, i repeat, cannot control others.
No MetaGaming - That means you can't find diamonds automatically, you can't defeat a giant in 1 hit, etc.
Night Rules - Night and Day are both 5 Posts long. (This means ones post can only time overlap slightly)
Finding Rare Blocks - You may choose to 'find' something while exploring, mining etc. This will be decided by me, a rp mod or simply just some random person not playing

How To Start and Play:
Everyone must create a character (see create a character below)and post in order on a specified RP Page (This will be created once there are at least 3 different players) , telling about what the character does in minecraft.
All posts must begin with;

This is the system I propose for finding items while mining. When you choose to mine, somebody goes onto Random Number Generator and generates a number from 1-4. 1-2 means cobblestone, 3-4 means ore/mob spawner. You then do an other generation between X X.Each number represents the ore ore item that you find.

1 = Coal
2 = Iron
3 = Red Stone
4 = Gold
5 = Lapis Lazuli
6 = Diamond

Each ore can have something made or dont with it. Thoughts?

And a a battle system.
Whenever you choose to explore, there is a 1 in 4 chance of finding a hostile mob.
Each weapon has different damages.

Fist = 0.5
Wooden sword = 1
Stone sword = 1.5
Iron sword = 2
Diamond sword = 3
All other blocks, tools, and items = 1.5

There is a 1 in X chance that your attack will miss.

Mob health:
Zombie = 5
Skeleton = 5
Spider =5
Creeper= 3 (Kamikaze!)
Spider Jockey = 5 each mob

This system is not done and needs finishing, just my take on it.
