Advice needed - Spawn

I need some help...

I've built a cavern which is around 15x70x5 in size... Put torches all around so it's all well lit.

However, I've noticed that monsters keep spawning in one particular corner. Why is that ? What can I do about it ?

The place is well lit... and that particular corner has a ton of torches. Also, they are definitly spawning as I can watch them appear. There are no holes anywhere where they are sneaking in.

Try destroying the torches and replacing them #lolnotch

One thing I can suggest is... try opening the corner more? Maybe there's a dungeon nearby causing the spawns.

There was an odd lighting effect on the server last night... where torches wern't lighting anything... until you destroyed one and then re-applied it... so maybe it's connected with that.

It's a pain tho... having monsters spawn in your little hidey-hole.

It's very likely that any strange bugs or problems are down to the many (34) plugins that're active on the server. Notch is only somewhat to blame.

Lies! Notch is to blame for every single bug ESPECIALLY the ones in the various plugins we use.
