@Slave, I did not intend to offend you. I am sorry to have bothered you with what I said, but I'm glad to see you have risen above your experience and don't let it rule you like many victims of rape do. I certainly do not intend to imply your experience is inconsequential or to be dismissed as "nothing", but allow me to clarify my intended message.
It is MUCH easier, at least for myself and I'm fairly certain for many if not most others, to forgive that which was done to myself than it is to forgive someone for what they did to someone I care about.
When I was a junior in highschool I got a phone call telling me one of my close friends had been beaten raped by her stepfather. When I first saw her in the hospital she was comatose. She had four broken ribs, a broken nose, and a dislocated shoulder. Both eyes were swollen shut and she had bruises all over her body. She had been raped so viciously that her vaginal bleeding didn't stop for three days. She was in a coma for five weeks, and the first thing she did when she woke up was start screaming hysterically, begging him to stop and leave her alone. Once the nurse was able to calm her down, she clung to her and cried herself to sleep. I felt immense grief for her experiencing that, furious her step father for doing this, furious at God for it happening, and completely helps to do anything to comfort her.
Whenever someone says "rape" or some variation of it this memory comes back and haunts me again. I feel those emotions again. This is NOT what I want to think of or experience at any time, much less when I'm trying to enjoy some time on the server. Anyone who uses it gets a polite request to stop and a stern warning that repercussions will come if they don't. Further use of that word in presence and I WILL issue them a temporary ban.
Not to be rude but.. We've all had our experiences I'm sure, that have their trigger switches that remind us of such incidences, to ban those triggers because of a bad experience someone may have had is just silly, and I very much see it as pointless censoring. I'm sure there are other things that may remind you of that incidence as well but I'm sure you wouldn't find banning the word 'stepfather' justifiable would you? My point is that 99% of the time it's harmlessly used. The only negativity in that word in video games is generally what you put into it yourself, and many of us don't have any negativity towards the word in general. Also, forgiving has nothing to do with it. It's coming to terms with the fact that it happened and moving on because there's nothing more you can do about it. Eventually in life there comes a time when you gotta accept what bullshit you waded through to get to where you are now. And I'm in a fairly good place, the best I've ever been in actually, so whatever shit I went through to get here doesn't matter to me anymore and sure as hell doesn't control me.
Letting a word control your emotions is silly and I don't think others should be punished for it.
Regardless, I hope she's doing okay and has found that place of happiness.
Offtopic-ish derp.
I still say censorship is pointless and will ruin the game.
Though obvious harassment should be discouraged/punishable.

I completely agree and also think this should be applied to horrid words like the s and f word.
Please honor my request. I really hate cussing although I do think that people have freedom of speech. That would be awesome.

While I understand your request, I will not honor it as it would be almost be impossible to implement. What would we do if someone swears like a sailor after losing a ton of stuff by being PvP'd. His/her frustration is more than understandable so muting/kicking/banning him/her would just be adding insult to injury. (See what I did there? harharhar).
As has been said before in this topic: all complaints about language are handled on a individual basis. Extreme cases/blatant racism will be punished by a swift modification of the nuts by our "Biscuit Hammer". Or banned as it is more commonly known.
Now topic locked as this "discussion" has long run it's course.
