The abandoned area near the docks will be removed, I got Purecraft's aproval so he is in charge for that if the owner may come back!

New teleport runes has been established near the Wooden Tower near the Orcworm statue at the west exit of the Spawn City! The Runes are NOT zoned so everyone can use them, but can also be destroyed by griefers and when this happens i gotta repair them (and the griefer gets banned). To use the rune use the rune on the right and right-click on the middle stone block. Make sure you dont have anything placeable (blocks, torches, doors, levers...) equiped, only use them with a tool or hands equiped. Non-villagers can ONLY get to Kumatora Village using the rune at the Tower but cannot use the rune in Kumatora Village to get back to the Tower, just use /spawn instead.

To me, it really sounds like an issue that you can not teleport back if your not a villager. I would ask orc to make a hole in the zone above the rune. Teleportation should be available for EVERYONE!

I still cant believe how big this village has becomen! Actualy we have more members now than some other places that call themselfes "cities". If things keep going like this we may need to expand the zone.
Anyway i was curious if you guys have any more ideas what to add to the village to make it even more awesome.

Before we even think about expanding the zone we should get all the plots sold first, there are still plenty more now since i finished the 4th land expansion wich also was the easiest. I moved the main gate and created an S-shaped street wich can hold several small or a few medium plots. Teleportation runes to other cities is a good idea, but no one really seems to want to do that. The Village already got a few nice public spots but if you got some more ideas, go ahead.

IF the Map reset is going to happen I'm thinking of rebuilding Kumatora Village. But this time I will choose a location further away from the spawn.
I could need some people to rebuild it. New Kumatora doesn't need to look exactly like Kumatora Village as it is right now, though.
So if the restart happens, I will work on New Kumatora, that is for sure! Nero might join me and I hope current Villagers will too. To get new Villagers the Plots will be free for some days again.

Woopsie, my pc just started working again (after 1 Week) and didn't read the forum. I always had that "REBUILD KUMATORA!!!" in mind so i was focused on that and started working on it at some random location. Luckily I just started and I could grab my stuff again and go to another location.

I cant believe this tiny village actualy made it to the new server, becoming even a lot bigger and even a lot more important! But im not too sure if we should call it new kumatora. It kinda sounds lame to just keep focusing on that its new. Lets just call it kumatora will we?
I cant WAIT to reconstruct the design of kumatora and even improve it this time!
For what giygas and i planned, the city is gonna have a large, symetric shape, similar to the one of orcshire.

I mean using the name of a game character as a city name... yeah...
It will be a forest styled city (with some magical aspects like the glowstone used for the streets or those special trees) so it could maybe use a more fitting name.

I thought about some styles for New Kumatora, what i like are those "mystical" places from good old fantasy rpgs, you know, medieval style towns with a great atmosphere. I also kinda like the idea of an maybe asian styled medieval village, found some artwork that could work as a concept for the new city

Asian style? This might not be possible since every citizen is going to build their own house in a style they like best. Since the city will be inside a forest the houses should fit to the theme. We would prefer if the citizens would use mainly wood planks and logs for their homes.
The only thing me and Nero are going to work on are the streets for now.
Also guys, I really think New Kumatora needs a new name. But stay serious, something like New Pork City, cmon it's a forest city! Asian themed names are pretty good, but if the name has got a meaning, please tell me that too!

It wasn't a game. It was an animated movie, very moving, and focused on a guardian spirit of a forest. I think it's highly relevant name for a forest haven City in Orcworm SMP
