Stops prefixes from working correctly, although the actual iConomy function works fine.

I never really liked prefixes anyways. Are you going to update to 4.0? (this is purely for in game knowledge, and not for my server)

I wouldn't really call I an "unofficial announcement" so much as simply moving on to the next phase. The fact that Minecraft is still in the Beta Testing stage of development pretty much implies there will be further additions and modifications.
